Word Formation Dice

Inspired by Ms Kasia's paper cubes, I decided to make a virtual version that we can use for any type of activities. We have 6 types of dice with different common prefixes or suffixes, which we use to build nouns or adjectives. This is a good application for those preparing for exams, although I think that everyone who wants to expand their vocabulary should use it and practice.

Have fun!!!

Valentine's Day is approaching, so it's time for a love-themed activity. I present a simple game of describing famous romantic couples. The couples are from different eras with different personalities and stories, so telling about them can be an interesting challenge.

A student randomly chooses a couple and gives as many details as they can tell. The other person has to guess who is the hero of the stories.

Enjoy!!

THE DILEMMATOR

Our new game is designed for all those who have problems with the expressions "I would prefer", "I would rather" and "I prefer". It is particularly important to show that these three structures require different forms of the verb, which is often forgotten.
The learner draws a question with a dilemma which must be answered using an expression which is also chosen at random. Each statement can be expanded by giving reasons.
Have a good lesson!!!

Prepositions ...Nightmare of all English learners. My challenge is to make it easier for students to learn and absorb the expressions with prepositions. This game focuses on collocations of adjectives and prepositions. The task of the player is to match the adjective with the appropriate preposition. In the upper square you will see how many prepositions are associated with the adjective. In addition, the player can collect points and organise competition among the students.

Have fun!
